Amanda graduated from Davidson Fine Arts School in 2004. She went on to get her Associate Degree in Music from Young Harris College and her Bachelor Degree in Worship and Womens Ministry from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. After graduating from Liberty and moving back to Hephzibah, Amanda became the Minister of Worship and Music at Hephzibah Baptist Church. A year later, she enrolled in the cosmetology program at Augusta Tech. She received her cosmetology license in April of 2010 and immediately began working at Accent on Hair.

Amanda married John Brookins of Waynesboro on November 13th!!!
